Known as the island of poets, Lesvos keeps being a source of inspiration for writers, artists and musicians since the ancient times. A land where time stands still and where the simple life still exists.
On summer 2020 I was assigned to create the visual identity of the Cultural Programme - “Lisvoplanemata” (local dialect for “Enchanting moments on Lesvos”.
Visual language
As this project is about a celebration of culture, with a programme rich in concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances and readings, I decided to incorporate bold colours and illustrations.
Playful combinations with photography and illustration elements are mixed with handwritten details, in order to give a vibrant personality to that year’s cultural programme.
